Our Cause: Establishment of a Mango and Cashew Processing Unit** In a world where agriculture and local production are at the heart of rural economies, our project aims to support local producers by establishing a mango and cashew processing unit. Who will be affected? This project will have a direct impact on local farmers (mango and cashew trees). Youth, women, and rural families will also benefit from this project through job creation in the processing unit. Why do they need this cause? Mango and cashew producers face several challenges: difficulties preserving fresh fruit and low income from the sale of unprocessed products. How will we implement this cause? We will conduct a feasibility study and raise the necessary funds to build the infrastructure and purchase the necessary equipment. We will then establish partnerships with local farmers to ensure a continuous supply of raw materials. Stories of People Affected by this Cause Take the example of Mariam, a young farmer who grows mangoes and cashew trees in her village. With this processing unit, Mariam will not only be able to sell her produce at higher prices, but will also create jobs for other women and young people in her community.
We only use 5% of donations for operations.

Maintaining the impact of this cause without additional external funding is challenging, but it is entirely possible if sustainable strategies and internal mechanisms are put in place. Here are some ways our church could ensure the sustainability of the impact of the mango and cashew processing unit project: 1. Self-Sufficient Financial Management and Profit Reinvestment One of the most effective solutions to maintain long-term impact without external funding is to reinvest the profits generated by the processing unit. Once the unit is launched, it will generate income from the sale of processed products. These profits can be used to: Renew and maintain the equipment needed for production. Train and pay local employees and managers. Invest in growth initiatives such as expanding the unit or improving production techniques. This allows the church to make the project financially self-sufficient in the long term, without relying on external funds. Community Training and Empowerment A key component of the project's sustainability lies in the training of local communities. By equipping workers, producers, and youth with technical and entrepreneurial skills, the church helps create a model of empowerment.
