At the Child Development Center, we support 235 children who attend classes every Saturday, along with 30 expectant mothers and numerous children under two years old. These participants regularly engage in our program, as we strive to improve their living conditions and combat poverty through sustainable interventions. One such initiative is our Tailoring skills program, designed to empower participants with practical, income-generating skills. Through this program, 10 children and 30 parents have successfully learned to use Tailoring machines, and their enthusiasm and dedication have been inspiring. However, the lack of a proper venue for Tailoring activities remains a significant challenge. Most sessions have taken place on the project office veranda, which is far from ideal. Recognizing this pressing need, we launched a project to construct a dedicated Tailoring center to provide a suitable learning space. With the support of the church congregation and caregivers, we made mud bricks for the center and prepared the site. Thus far, we have managed to raise the building structure and paint it. However, the center is not yet fully functional. The floor remains unfinished, and we lack critical elements such as glass for the windows to ensure security and insulation. Our vision is to complete this center to provide a safe, dedicated space for children and parents to learn Tailoring and to store the necessary tools, including Tailoring machines, tables, and materials. Your support can help us bring this project to fruition, empowering the community with opportunities for skill development and economic self-reliance.
