The development of access and especially the quality of preschool education remains a major concern for Burkinabe education authorities today. According to the 2019/2020 preschool statistical yearbook, out of a preschool population of 2,073,601 children, only 124,006 children are enrolled in preschool, a rate of 6%.
According to the Koudougou health district's statistics on the 2025 population by Health Center (HC), we have a preschool population of 4,091 boys and 4,726 girls, for a total of 8,817 children in the age group covered by the private Early childhood education center. However, preschool remains crucial for the child's full development. Listed as a national priority in Burkina Faso, this critical sector's mission is to contribute to the comprehensive development of children between the ages of three (3) and five (5). From the above, it is clear that the implementation of educational activities optimizes the development and holistic development of preschool children, thus preparing them to enter primary school with efficiency and ease. Our project to create a private Early childhood education center in our community aims to solve the problem of under-enrollment by providing an ideal environment for the development of very young children at a cost that is affordable for most people.
Our vision is to make the human beings that Christ has entrusted to us, responsible earthly and heavenly citizens. It is about promoting their holistic development, through our teachings. This will make them accomplished Christians and actors of development.
