WHY IT MATTERS

The purpose is to strengthen a sewing training center.

The people involved are: CDEJ participants who have dropped out of school, internally displaced persons, and anyone wishing to train.

The need is felt; this activity is successful because it generates a lot of income and is sustainable and reliable, addressing the unemployment problem in our community.

For its implementation, we have a building, seven sewing machines, and human resources. We plan to involve all community stakeholders in its implementation.

We had a participant whom we trained in sewing who obtained his Professional Qualification Certificate. Thanks to support, he opened his own workshop where he receives large contracts and has become independent.
