Seventeen boys will finally ride to safety instead of walking miles through danger to get there.
In our community, 17 young boys walk over two miles each day just to reach the center. That distance, covered on foot in heat and along busy roads, keeps some of them from coming at all. Without reliable transportation, they spend more time in situations that put them at risk and less time in the safe, structured environment the center offers.
With bikes, these boys will spend more time at the center and less time exposed to danger. Biking will also give them a new, healthy way to play and burn energy.
We want these boys to have what they need to show up every day and to grow in a place that is good for them.
