About the Cause
Posted by RW 0170 EMLR Mbuga CDC in Rwanda on 11/11/2024
Shoemaking begins by teaching participants the fundamentals of the craft, equipping them with skills to create quality footwear. This initiative not only empowers the participants but also positively impacts their families and the wider community through their innovative contributions. With funding, we plan to purchase essential shoemaking machines, quality leather, and other necessary equipment to produce high-quality shoes. Our community lacks access to shoemaking businesses, and there is a significant demand for shoes locally. This project will meet that need while fostering local economic growth. We seek financial support as we currently lack the resources to expand this initiative. Once funded, we will immediately acquire the required tools and materials, enabling us to train more youth and produce shoes for sale in various markets. This venture has the potential to be highly profitable, benefiting everyone involved.

How the church will sustain the cause
Our sustainability plan ensures effective management and long-term success of the shoemaking project. The church will oversee fund management, supervise project operations, and conduct regular audits of all transactions. This will promote transparency and accountability. To expand market reach, the church will facilitate the sale of our shoes in various markets and actively promote our products through advertising. It will also ensure consistent production of high-quality shoes by safeguarding materials and finished products. Additionally, the church will support the growth of the initiative by providing ongoing training to new participants, equipping them with essential skills. This comprehensive approach will ensure the project's sustainability and continued impact on our community.
To be a health church growing holistically multiplying disciples and extending the Kingdom of God in Rwanda and abroad
